Miso Happy

Melinda was nice enough to visit me again this weekend, which made for a refreshing change of pace. My boss invited us to a beer/wine tasting were I had a chance to try some Berliner Weisse beer. I highly recommend it. Melinda stuck to the desert wines, which have become a passion of hers. The event was very low key but it was nice to hang out with my boss and not talk shop. He's offered to teach me about the art and science to home brewing. I'd like to try it, but then again, I can think of a lot of things I’d like to try but don't have the time to (e.g. become a ninja – speaking of which check out the videos here).

We also did lots of interesting stuff including:

drink fancy flavored teas (e.g. Banana Calipso)

eat at an over-priced but trendy restaurant (sucked)

munch on some ice cream filled mochi (yum)

explore the town in which I live

lock my keys inside the car and pay a ridiculous $135 to get them back.

Anyway I had a great time and can't wait to start living with Melinda again, too bad it has to be here in the South. Well at least it's not Texas!
